Its that time again. This will be my third time going!! I’m not one to brag but doesn’t that make me cool? Kidding, tbh I wouldn’t really want that for anyone. Think about everything you gotta do.
Find a dress.
Get your makeup did up.
Fix your nails and toes.
Find someone to do your hair.
Form a group to roll around in the limo prior to the prom and after.
Find a date (this is harder for most).
The list goes on and on and on but that list alone is enough to cause anyone a headache!! This also includes more money spent by my lovely parents. Oh, I’m sure they absolutely love that I keep getting asked to go to the big ol shendig.
This leads me to my next point. MY DATE…
I know most may wonder, how did he ask? And for most girls guys create the most creative ways to ask like these here. Luckily for me mine was just as awesome, and it completely threw me off guard!!
Here’s how it went down..
Considering that I am on the drill team, we always perform for the school during all of the different pep rallies. We started a routine for everyone to see. We were having a blast and I was excited how well I was doing in my routine.
Everyone started doing different movements than ME!!! A Million thoughts start running threw my mind.
I swear I had this right
Are you sure you guys are doing the right dance
I was completely off and it was so embarrassing. Then out of nowhere Jake pops out of nowhere and has a group of his teammates in the stands with painted bodies spelling out the words. M-A-R-Y G-O T-O P-R-O-M-W-I-T-H-M-E-?
I was blown away and completely surprised. It was by far the best proposal I have seen in person (for prom that is).
And it definitely was the best one that has ever happened to me. Wow Wow Wow..It was amazing and it was with the best guy I could ask for.
Skipping ahead now let’s talk about the actual Prom
It was AWESOME! Our school was able to rent out a floor of a huge building in Downtown Dallas. We show up (in style I might add, had a bomb limo) and they have everything. Photobooths, the best food, awesome music, extravagent lights, you name it this place had it.
I danced my tush off with the cutest guy in the school and it was an awesome night.
This doesn’t even include after the dance! Our parents arranged us to ride with our very own personal chauffeur all throughout Dallas. What a freaking time it was.
It blew all other proms out of the park. Idk if it was because it was my senior year prom or because it truly was?
Just everything from my date, to his proposal to the limo and the awesome venue that our HS put on for us. I couldn’t have asked for more out of the big day.
Check out our group and the limo (or the backend of it at least haha. Photo courtesy of Rowlett VIP Limo. Sunny you are the man!! He gave us the best time possible.
That’s all I have for now. Maybe I’ll upload some more pics in the next week or so, but I’m not too sure about that haha. Leave me some comments!
